Breast Lift in Northwest Arkansas
Lift, Shape, and Reclaim Your Confidence
A breast lift is all about restoring what time, gravity, and life’s big moments may have changed. Whether it’s the result of pregnancy, weight loss, or simply aging, sagging breasts can be reshaped, lifted, and brought back to a more confident, contoured silhouette. Our plastic surgeons in Northwest Arkansas offer breast lift surgery as a standalone enhancement, or it can be paired with breast augmentation for those who also want a boost in volume.

Breast Lift Before and After
What Does the Breast Lift Procedure Involve?
As with most cosmetic procedures available from Taylor Plastic Surgery, breast lifts are performed in our fully accredited, state-of-the-art on-site surgery center. Before your procedure, local or general anesthesia will be administered so you are completely comfortable throughout the surgery. For your safety, your heart rate, blood pressure, and the amount of oxygen in your blood will be monitored during the operation.
Our surgeons are experienced with several common breast lift incision techniques, including around the areola, around the areola and vertically down to the breast crease, or around the areola, down to the breast crease, and horizontally along the breast crease. Our surgeon will be able to determine the best technique for your needs and goals during the consultation. The mastopexy procedure involves the removal of loose or excess breast skin, tightening remaining breast tissues, and elevating the recontoured breast shape to a more youthful position.
What Can I Expect During Breast Lift Recovery?
During recovery from breast lift surgery, most patients can expect:
- Mild discomfort, soreness, and swelling after surgery
- These symptoms are typically well managed with medication and should gradually fade during the healing process
- Recovery time varies based on individual healing; however, most patients are able to return to non-strenuous work/activities within five to seven days
Patients should be prepared to avoid:
- Vigorous activity (e.g., sports, aerobics) for three to four weeks
- Heavy lifting or strenuous tasks for six to eight weeks
All post-operative care instructions should be closely followed for optimal healing and results. As always, our team at Taylor Plastic Surgery will be happy to answer any questions you may have before or during the recovery process.

How Long Will Breast Lift Results Last?
With a healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise and a nutritious diet, the results of a breast lift can last several years into the future. Additionally, avoiding sun exposure (or sufficiently protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful rays), smoking, and significant weight gain or fluctuations can help extend the outcome. Our surgeon also recommends completing your family plans prior to breast lift surgery, as pregnancy and breastfeeding may alter the results of the initial procedure.
