What Are the Benefits of SKINVIVE™?
SKINVIVE™ is a unique injectable formulation capable of enhancing skin texture in the cheeks to create a more youthful and healthy appearance. What Does the SKINVIVE™ Treatment Process Involve?
Once you and our provider have agreed that SKINVIVE™ is ideal for your needs and goals, a customized treatment plan will be developed to enable the best possible results. The SKINVIVE™ gel will be delicately injected into the treatment areas. The solution contains lidocaine (a local anesthetic), which should minimize discomfort as the injections are administered. We can also apply a topical anesthetic to the skin to further reduce the potential for pain during the injections.
SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® treatments are often relatively quick procedures that can be performed right here at our practice. Although some residual swelling and mild bruising around the injection sites are common side effects, they should only be temporary. Most patients do not require a recovery period after this procedure and often immediately resume their normal daily routines.
How Long Can the Results of SKINVIVE™ Last?
Most individuals should experience the results of SKINVIVE™ for up to six months after treatment. When the effects begin to wear off, an additional treatment can be scheduled to help maintain the results for extended periods.
