How does Juvederm Voluma® work?

Juvederm Voluma is the first and only FDA-approved injectable that corrects volume loss in patients over the age of 21. Voluma provides instant volume and a subtle cheek lift for up to two years. Compared to Juvederm ® XC, Voluma is made up of thicker hyaluronic acid particles, which is naturally found in the body, giving skin a full and supple appearance.

During the treatment, Voluma is injected into your desired treatment areas using a fine needle. This formulation also includes lidocaine, a type of anesthetic, to help numb the injection areas during treatment.
